Important Announcement - CBA name change!

 

We have exciting news! CBA has joined forces with BASIC. As a result, our name has changed to BASIC pacific! This announcement is being provided to address questions about this change.

Q: Why did CBA make this change?
A: Joining the BASIC family is a natural fit for CBA. BASIC is a highly respected company in our industry, but did not do a lot of business in the far west where most of CBA’s clients are located or headquartered. As BASIC pacific, we will have more resources and services to offer over the coming years.

Q: Will CBA be going away?
A: Absolutely not! CBA is changing our name to BASIC pacific, we are not going away. The same great staff that has served our clients for years will continue to serve you for years to come.

Q: Will I have to go through a system conversion?
A: No! We have no plans to change our administration platform. Even your current web portal username and password will remain the same!

Q: What changes will occur?
A: Essentially, this should be viewed as a name change, so anything with our name or logo will have to change.

Q: When will the name change go into effect?
A: You’ll notice the name change immediately. We are focusing on easy changes first, such as the portals and material.

Q: Will I receive a new debit card?
A: No. If you have a debit card with the CBA logo, it will work just fine until its normal expiration date. Newly generated cards will be issued with our BASIC pacific logo going forward.

Q: Do I need to complete a new bank authorization to receive direct deposits from CBA?
A: No. However, the memo shown on electronic deposits or withdrawals will now state “BASIC pacific”.

Q: Will customer service phone numbers or the mailing address be changing?
A: No, all phone numbers and mailing addresses will remain the same.

Q: Will email addresses and website be changing?
A: Yes. Our web address has changed to www.basicpacific.com. Our customer service email is now customerservice@basicpacific.com. Our staff emails will be changing as well. However, all current “CBA” addresses will continue to work just fine for a long time to come!

Q: Will the transition to BASIC pacific really be this easy?
A: Yes, it really is this easy! We have worked hard to ensure this change is not a burden for participants.

Are you traveling out of the country anytime soon?
